Best Tattoo Removal Dallas

We employ the most cutting edge laser tattoo removal treatment in the country. We are proud to be Dallas Fort Worth best tattoo removal clinic conducting more laser tattoo removal treatments than anyone in the vicinity.

Our treatments use the Cutera Enlighten System, an advanced tattoo removal process that uses several heated laser light pulses to remove tattoo ink from the skin by breaking down the pigments that make up the tattoo.

Cutera Enlighten is a lot more effective than traditional laser tattoo removal. The Cutera Enlighten system is two lasers in one. It utilizes both KTP and ND:Yag laser technology which allows the removal of all colors of tattoo ink. And unlike any other tattoo removal laser, the Enlighten system has both nanosecond and picosecond laser pulse technology. The combination of the two laser systems separates Enlighten from all other tattoo devices. It requires fewer visits, which results in less cost and leaves the skin virtually ink free. Traditional laser tattoo-removal is not as effective at completely fading the tattoo ink. It usually requires over a dozen sessions, which racks up in cost. It can be painful, and after several attempts, there may still be remnants of the tattoos left behind on the skin.

Perhaps you’ve gotten older and that butterfly, skull or arm sleeve of intricate design is no longer significant in meaning. Now you want to go back to the clear unadorned skin you once had.  Or that colorful faded blob that used to be an elaborate work of skin art is just an eyesore. Why not try Cutera Enlighten to permanently get rid of your tattoos?

We’re sure you have questions and concerns. We’re hoping that we can answer most of them with the following Q and A. Call us to talk about our Dallas medspa treatments that might compliment tattoo removal.

How are tattoos removed?

Tattoos are removed by the use of two different types of laser beams combined with two different types of laser pulses.

The heat from the lasers helps to reach the pigment in the tattoos and break the colors down into small particles. Eventually, the body will absorb the pigment and the skin is ink free.

Is Tattoo Removal Painful?

No. Cutera Enlighten is not painful.

The laser pulses feel as intense as the snap of a rubber band. Although the Cutera Enlighten procedure is not painful, a topical numbing ointment can be applied to the skin to minimize discomfort. Some patients may experience a tingling that’s similar to the feel of a sunburn.

How Long Does it Take to Remove Tattoos?

Each session is about five to fifteen minutes.

Tattoos are typically cleared in 4-6 sessions as opposed to other laser tattoo devices which require 10-30 sessions.

Does Tattoo Removal Leave a Scar?

There is a low chance of scarring after the Cutera Enlighten treatment.  Sometimes the skin is already scared below the ink because of the tattoo needling procedure.

Patients should not expect to see scarring if they follow the proper after-care instructions. Patients should keep the treated area clean, apply an antibiotic ointment, avoid scraping the skin, avoid high-pressure water or hot tubs. Patients should also wear a sun block with an SPF of 25 or higher for at least three months.

Women who are diabetic, have poor circulation, or immune system problems may see a higher risk of scarring.

Will the Cutera Enlighten Remove all Ink Colors?

Normally all tattoo ink colors will be removed.

It’s able to remove all colors of ink as well as solid tattoos and tattoos with shadows and fading.

Why is Cutera Enlighten More Effective than Other Laser Technologies?

Cutera Enlighten delivers faster laser pulses, so the ink breaks up more efficiently. Because the Cutera Enlighten procedure delivers high power short pulses, it makes the treatment more effective, resulting in fewer treatments.

Because the Cutera Enlighten procedure delivers high power short pulses, it makes the treatment more effective, resulting in fewer treatments.

How Many Treatments are Required to Erase Tattoos?

Usually, multiple sessions are required over the period of a few months. The number of treatments will depend on the amount of color in the tattoo ink.

Cutera Enlighten treatments remove tattoos in fewer sessions than traditional laser tattoo-removal, but the size, density, and colors in the tattoos will determine how many times you will need to return for an additional procedure. As the tattoo is broken down into small particles, it will be absorbed by the skin and eliminated. When all of the particles are removed from the body, there’s no need for any more treatments.

Is There Any Downtime After Each Treatment?

No. There is no downtime. Patients can return to their usual activities after the procedure.

How much does Tattoo Removal Cost?

The average cost for each treatment is $300-$500.

Pricing is determined by the number of treatments needed and the tattoo size. Patients can receive pricing after their first consultation.

Are There Any Side Effects Associated with Cutera Enlighten?

Patients may experience temporary skin irritation or redness.

To avoid side effects patients should avoid direct sunlight, use a sunscreen of SPF 25 or higher. Eat healthy so your body can naturally expel the tattoo particles.
