ABOUT Dermafrac

DermaFrac is a non-invasive skin treatment that fights the damage that has been caused by aging, the sun and acne. The system uses microdermabrasion, LED therapy and micro- needling to infuse serums deep into the dermal-epidermal layer of the skin to repair the skin to a smoother more youthful texture. A rolling device with tiny needles is used during the process to create tiny holes in the skin. Once the holes are generated and the serum permeates the skin, the controlled injury triggers the body to respond to the treatment by producing collagen. The collagen production tightens the skin, smoothes wrinkles, adds lost volume and reduces the presence of acne scares, fine lines and stretch marks.

  • Micro Channeling

A process that involves applying a selected serum to infuse into the skin. Once the serum has permeated the
surface, the debris is sucked from the skin to reveal smoother,
more youthful looking skin.

  • Vitamin C Infusion

Vitamin C passes through micro holes in
the skin that have been made by microneedling. When the vitamin C penetrates minerals and amino acids are delivered directly into the skin for the most absorption.
Kojic acid infusion – When Kojic acid is infused into the skin through the Dermafrac process. Kojic acid infusion helps to maximize the prevention of hyperpigmentation.

  • Hyaluronic Acid Serum Infusion

For dry and tight skin, hyaluronic acid serum is infused into the skin with Dermafrac. There will be a boost in the skin’s hydration once the procedure has been performed.

  • Growth Factor Infusion

To stimulate cellular growth in the skin
a growth factor is infused into the skin through Dermafrac. The skin will be able to naturally heal itself so that it maintains volume, firmness and a smooth texture.

  • Prp Infusion

PRP infusion is the process of infusing Platelet
Rick Plasma into the skin with Dermafrac. The platelets that are separated from the blood are infused into the skin to speed up collagen production, so that the skin quickly becomes more
youthful and smooth.

  • Platelet Rich Plasma Infusion

Some Dermafrac procedures can be supplemented by Platelet Rich Plasma Infusions. During the DermaFrac treatment, the patient’s platelets are separated from their blood and infused into the skin. This process accelerates collagen production and skin repair. See the Dermafrac with PRP page for more info

  • Sculptra Infusion

The process infuses Sculptra serum into the
skin during the DermaFrac process. The skin will become more contoured with additional volume, softness and firmness.

  • Hyperpigmentation

Hyperpigmentation is an abnormal production of melanin in the skin. This condition causes the skin to appear darker or create age spots, freckles or liver spots.

  • Sculptra + Frac

The process of the DermaFrac treatment to infuse Sculptra serum into the dermal-epidermal layer of the skin. The procedure will add volume to the skin and make the skin softer and more contoured.

  • Collagen Production

process of producing collagen to keep the skin firm, smooth
wrinkles and improve the texture of the skin. Collagen
production can be triggered by treatments like Dermafrac.
Skin tightening – Skin tightening is a treatment that repairs
damaged skin that has begun to sag or loosen because of a rapid
loss of weight or aging. After the process the skin will be
smoother and firmer.

  • Anti-Aging

The process of using treatments and procedures to
minimize the effects of aging on the skin. Treatments like
DermaFrac are intended to stimulate collagen production and
eliminate wrinkles, fine lines, loose skin and damage created by
overexposure to the sun.

DermaFrac Treatments at advanced skin fitness in dallas

Great skin is a natural born benefit that young healthy people maintain effortlessly. But at they get older and become exposed to the sun, and other negative environmental elements, it’s difficult to escape the inevitable damage that’s caused by these factors. The effects are normally presented in the form of wrinkles, fine lines, acne scars, dryness, discoloration, dark spots and enlarged pores. For these common skin problems, there’s a treatment that can make dramatic improvements; DermaFrac, which is a non-invasive treatment that is highly effective at smoothing the skin, evening skin tone and eliminating acne.

DermaFrac is a unique skin rejuvenation technology that delivers the same results that you’d expect from a chemical peel. However, DermaFrac involves a skin puncturing process, called micro-needling, that transfers specially selected serums deep within the dermal-epidermal layer of the skin to repair specific damage to the skin, unclog pores and trigger the skin’s natural collagen production.

At Advanced Skin Fitness we use DermaFrac micro needling with Hydrafacial, and LED treatment to complete the whole DermaFrac process.

What is DermaFrac?

DermaFrac is a non-invasive skin treatment system that uses micro-needling and vacuum to infuse serums deep into the dermal-epidermal layer of the skin to repair the skin to a smoother more youthful texture.

6 different serums are injected into the skin with the micro-needling process that target distinct skin care concerns. Your technician will evaluate the condition of your skin to determine the best serum to use to treat your individual problem areas before the first phase of the process which is hydrafacial.

During the initial assessment, before the actual treatment, patients can have their problem areas identified and get their procedure customized for their specific skin issues. In addition, the technician helps to sustain and preserve the skin with Antiox serum, along with Antioxidants, Peptides and Hyaluronic Acid to hydrate the skin, so that it holds moisture and elasticity.

What is Microneedling?

Micro-needling is a skin rejuvenation treatment that allows tiny micro-needles to penetrate skin to the appropriate selected depth of the dermal-epidermal layer of the skin to encourage collagen production and heal acne scars.

The technician will use tiny 0.5 mm needles to permeate the skin to a depth that boosts the skin’s ability to generate collagen and heal blemishes. The physician has the ability to control serum penetrates the skin; therefore achieving the maximum results.

What is LED Therapy (light emitting diode)?

It involves using red frequency to reduce inflammation, trigger collagen production and increase mitochondrial action to therefore speed healing.

How long does it take to see results from a DermaFrac treatment?
You should notice results after the first treatment.
To achieve more lasting and prominent results from the DermaFrac treatment it’s recommended that you have 4 to 6 treatments at least 2 to 3 weeks apart. You should notice significant improvement through the following 6 months to a year. If you adhere to your technician’s post care treatment, expect maximum results.

Is there any downtime required after having the DermaFrac treatment?
No. There is no downtime associated with the DermaFrac procedure.

Some patients may notice redness a day or two after the treatment, but they are able to return to their regular activities directly following the treatment. It will depend on the degree of stimulation that will determine the amount of redness that you will see.

Is the DermaFrac treatment painful?

No. The procedure does not involve cutting or bleeding, so patients should not expect to experience pain.

The tiny microscopic needles that are used to penetrate the skin, along with the special hand piece that is used during the treatment, prevents any breaking of the skin. Therefore, the patient should have a great pain free experience.

How soon after having fillers can a patient have the DermaFrac treatment?

You should consult your technician about the amount of time that should be allowed between receiving injectable fillers and having a DermaFrac treatment.

Having injectable facial fillers shortly before getting the DermaFrac treatment may be completely safe, since there aren’t clinical reports that suggest otherwise. However, if you inform your technician that you have recently had injectable facial fillers, you will be properly advised if you should schedule the DermaFrac procedure soon after.

What types of skin conditions does DermaFrac treat?

DermaFrac treatments are used on skin that’s been damaged by aging, the sun and acne.

DermaFrac treatments dramatically improve skin that’s damaged due to dryness, wrinkles, acne
fine lines, acne scars, dryness, discoloration, dark spots and enlarged pores. The treatments are safe and effective for many skin types and will show major improvement to the condition of the skin.

What types of treatments are available with DermaFrac?

The DermaFrac treatment is performed with Hydrafacial or LED therapy. By combining one of these treatments with DermaFrac you should achieve more improved results.
