3 Easy Ways to Slow Down and Reduce Skin Aging

Avoiding the Sun

While the sun is actually a pretty good friend for our skin as it provides vitamin D, too much sun can lead to skin damage since UV lights can penetrate and attack our skin cells. Additional Tip: Try lessening the amount of alcohol intake because it dehydrates our skin cells.

Of course, one of the most important and beneficial in preventing skin aging is eating healthy. Having a bad or poor diet often leads to premature skin aging since the skin is readily susceptible to sun damage, toxins and other factors that lead to skin aging. And so, having a good diet means healthy living, a healthy body and beautiful skin! One of the most common and really helpful recommendations is to include fruits and vegetables in your meals. But it isn’t just fruits and vegetables that are recommended! Those that contain antioxidants and anti-inflammatory too are most beneficial in protecting your skin from skin aging. Some of these foods include:

  • Salmon
  • Tuna
  • Olive Oil
  • Green Tea
  • Nuts
