Our bodies work tirelessly every second and every second, it is aided by different properties that help it function and grow properly. These properties are vitamins that cover a spectrum of jobs just to keep the body running properly and prosperously. While they are all designed to help the body, there are 4 vitamins that are very beneficial when it comes to our skin. Out of 13 vitamins, these 4 are the vitamins you need to get enough of to make your skin healthy, fresh, smooth and good-looking.

Vitamin C

The most famous of all vitamins is Vitamin C. This is because it is readily available and convenient to acquire. It takes in the forms of fruits that contain citrus and it can be easily directed to supplements. What makes it important for your skin is that it has antioxidant properties that protect your skin cells from free radicals. Additionally, it can also boost collagen production to make your skin healthy and firm.

Vitamin D

Another vitamin that is easy to get is Vitamin D. The primary source of Vitamin D is sunlight. Staying exposed to the sun for about 5-10 minutes a day will help you get plenty of Vitamin D. However, you should be careful not to stay for too long or stay when it’s too hot because this might be more harmful than beneficial. UV Rays can from the sun can penetrate your skin and damage your skin cells that can cause skin cancer and other skin conditions. But of course, if you can perfect the art of getting Vitamin D, it will be really helpful for your skin since it is known as the sunshine vitamin that can help your skin rejuvenate and even protect your skin!

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is known to be an antioxidant just like Vitamin C. This means it can help protect your skin from free radicals. Additionally, Vitamin E can also offer protection from sun damage because it is known to absorb UV Rays that can damage your skin. Effectively, it can also prevent the appearance of wrinkles and dark spots. Taking topical products is the most common source of Vitamin E but you may choose to take seeds and nuts that are rich in Vitamin E.

Vitamin K

The last vitamin you can get to make your skin healthy and beautiful is Vitamin K. While Vitamin K does not necessarily make skin look better, it is known to help your skin repair itself when experiencing skin conditions such as dark spots, scars, stretch marks and more! It can also help your skin heal and recover faster. So it is very helpful when your skin is suffering from bruises, wounds, fresh surgery cuts and patches. This is because Vitamin K functions as a helper and booster in the process of blood clotting. Vitamin K can be found in different types of green vegetables such as Kale, Lettuce, Spinach and Cabbage.
